Individual Therapy
in Westminster, Colorado
the Denver Metro, and online throughout Colorado
You understand yourself well. So why do you keep ending up here?

Insight isn't always the same as change.
Sometimes we understand ourselves intellectually long before anything feels different. The same fears return. The same relationships find us. The same questions keep asking to be answered.
You aren't starting from zero.
There may simply be something deeper asking for your attention.

Therapy at In Deep Shift.
I'm less interested in telling you how you should feel and more interested in understanding what is already happening.
Together, we slow things down. We notice what usually happens automatically.
The ways you protect yourself. The places you disappear. The things you reach for. The things you avoid.
Not everything needs to be fixed. But it can be understood.
And sometimes... understanding changes what's possible.

What Our Work Might Look Like
Notice the pattern.
We begin with what's happening now.

Therapy Approaches
Every person's story is unique, which is why I draw from several therapeutic approaches rather than relying on a single method. These approaches provide different ways of understanding your experiences and guide how we work together in therapy.
Frequently Asked Questions
What can I talk about in individual therapy?
Anything that feels important. You don't need a diagnosis or a crisis. You don't even need a clear explanation for why you're here.

Sometimes therapy begins with little more than the sense that something in your life isn't working the way you want it to.
What is depth-oriented therapy?
Depth-oriented therapy looks beyond immediate symptoms to understand the patterns, relationships, experiences, and meanings underneath them. That doesn't mean we ignore what's happening in your life right now. It means we're curious about why certain struggles keep returning and what they might be asking us to understand.
Do you work with LGBTQ+ clients?
Yes. My practice is queer-affirming, and much of my work is with LGBTQ+ clients navigating relationships, identity, attachment, religious experiences, life transitions, and the ordinary complexity of being human. Your identity doesn't need to be the reason you're coming to therapy to be understood as part of who you are.
Do I need to know what I want to work on before starting therapy?
No. Sometimes people arrive with a very specific concern.
Others arrive knowing only that something feels off. We can begin wherever you are and become curious about what emerges.
Do you offer online therapy?
Yes. I offer in-person individual therapy in Westminster, Colorado, as well as telehealth for clients throughout Colorado.
If something here feels familiar...
You don't need to understand everything before beginning.

That's part of what the room is for.
